KidZone Positively a Summer Blast in 2009!

This summer the Bowling Music Network launched the KidZone Summer Blast. We’re happy to say that it was a huge hit! Many subscribers commented on the positive effect it had on their summer youth programs. KidZone hosts, Tara, Ashton, Kelly and Amanda would like to give a big shout-out to all the bowlers, center staff and proprietors throughout North America for making the Summer Blast such a fun success.

Our goal is create relevant programming to support new profit opportunities for our subscribers. We are continually creating new programming based on industry needs. The Summer Blast was one of our most well received projects to date, from concept to creation. Thanks again for all the positive input and comments. Our holiday season program planning is under way and will be launching November 26, 2009. We welcome your suggestions.

New Video Programs

The Bowing Music Network continues to lead the bowling industry in music-video entertainment services. Today we are announcing the launch of a wide range of new signature music-video programs. BMN subscribers benefit from intuitive and simple custom playlist and program creation tools, but can always rest assured that there is a BMN signature program just a click away to cater to a number of business opportunities.

We follow trends in the bowling industry, and work closely with subscribers to deliver relevant programming. The all new MEGA-HITS Video program came from a suggestion made by Don Kirkpatrick, a very progressive bowling center proprietor in Pennsylvania. The new program has been a hit with early testers and we thank Don for his input and support!

One of the challenges that music-video entertainment presents is providing appropriate content for kids and family audiences. With our Mom-Approved programming; our subscribers are delivering family-friendly, 100% appropriate music-video entertainment that the kids love, and Moms approve.  We will continue to create new and fun Mom-Approved programs and welcome any comments or suggestions.

Rock 300 now part of the Bowling Music Network

For over a decade, Rock 300 has delivered simple, affordable, premium music and marketing services to bowling centers throughout North America. Effective August 4, 2009, Rock 300 is now part of the Bowling Music Network.

The Bowling Music Network is pleased to welcome Rock 300 subscribers to the bowling industry’s leading network of entertainment and marketing services.

Rock 300 affiliates will continue to benefit from all services they currently utilize, in addition to enhanced Bowling Music Network technologies and services. Rock 300 President, Paul Alexander commented “Joining the Bowling Music Network to create one premium service makes sense for our subscribers and the continued improvement of the bowling industry.”

IN-Center Marketing That Sells!

We take pride in providing the bowling industry the most extensive library of “In Center” announcements and promotional videos. The exciting part, is that it’s provided at no additional charge to our subscribers. We continue to strive to increase the content to cover any profit center a bowling center decides to pursue. We are in the process of releasing a new and exciting themed promotional category. This series will be our best yet, featuring effective, fun animated videos with industry leading voice talent.

Effective IN-Center marketing must:

  • Be fun and entertaining
  • Be professionally produced
  • Be to the Point
  • Create a sense of urgency
  • Be demographically appropriate
  • Be targeted to the current customer

A wise business associate once told me that you shouldn’t try sell ice to an Eskimo. But, if you are going to try, it better be good ice.

Our goal is to assist our customers with enhancing their customer’s experience at the bowling center by introducing additional fun products and services. When it comes to fun, no one delivers like your local bowling center.

Capturing the Growing Youth Market

Hats off to the Bowling Proprietors Association’s launch of their branded Bowlopolis program. I have been involved in a few industry associations over the years and this has got to be one of the best marketing programs I have seen. It truly leverages the numbers in the association to create a cost effective, branded experience for the bowling /entertainment customer. Let’s face it, whether we are going to watch the latest movie, taking the kids to a restaurant, or bowl a few games; we want to be entertained. Whoever does the better job of painting a picture of fun will get our business.  With my family, the kids always made the last decision on the final two options we had narrowed it down to.

Bowlopolis creates a fun branded entertainment with endless opportunities. It utilizes all the hot buttons for the young demographic it caters to. Now it is up to the industry to capitalize on this opportunity or it will be another DVD and binder on the shelf collecting dust.

Now That Is A Great Idea!

I find it very entertaining when a service provider claims to have invented the wheel.

It is equally entertaining to watch businesses over complicate what they do to justify their existence and prevent valuable input from the life blood of their business, the customer! For the record, what we do is not complicated. We listen, we create, and most importantly we consistently execute.

We Listen

Multiple demographic formats, relevant promotional announcements, and ease of operation with the ability to create a weekly business template are all critical functions of our service that were suggested by real Bowling Proprietors. Typically, when we introduce our services to a proprietor they immediately become very excited about the potential for their business. They also frequently comment on how "it would be cool if…" Our typical reply is “Now that is a great idea!”

We Create

One of our significant differentiating factors is: we take immediate action on these great ideas. Our team of software developers, production staff, and programmers take a great idea and turn it into a profit generator for our subscribers.
